Magdeburg Cultural History Museum
The Museum of Cultural History in Magdeburg is regarded as one of the most important museums in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. It was built between 1901 and 1906 in neo-renaissance style, and was originally called the Emperor Friedrich Museum for Applied Arts. The building is also home to the natural history museum, as well as collections focussing on local history, archaeology and modern European cultural history.
